Quantum4U Lab Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "our", "us") operates RetroifyMe at retroifyme.com (the "Platform"), an AI-powered tool that transforms your photos into stylised looks inspired by past eras: the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and more. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, including any photos you upload.

By accessing or using RetroifyMe, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

Information We Collect

Account Information

• Name and email address when you create an account (including via Google sign-in).
• Password, stored as a one-way cryptographic hash, never in plain text.
• Profile details you choose to provide.

Photos You Upload & Generated Images

• Photos you upload for background removal, blurring, cropping, compression, or AI restyling.
• The generated images produced from your uploads.
• Metadata attached to uploaded files (e.g. file type, size).

Usage Data

• Tools and styles used, number of generations, and session history.
• If analytics tools are enabled, pseudonymous data such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device type, browser, and OS. This never includes your photos.

Payment Information

• Billing details (name, email, billing address) collected at checkout.
• Transaction ID, amount, plan, and payment date, retained for our records.
• We do not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or banking credentials. All payment data is handled directly by our payment processor (Razorpay).

Device Information

• Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
• Referring URL and timestamp information.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve RetroifyMe and its tools.
• To generate the edited or stylised images you request from your uploaded photos.
• To process your payments securely through our payment processor.
• To send transactional emails: receipts, subscription confirmations, password resets.
• To respond to your support queries and feedback.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
• To analyse usage trends and improve our tools and user experience.
• To comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations.
• To send marketing communications, only if you have explicitly opted in. You may opt out at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link in any email.

Photo Uploads & AI Processing

Photos are at the heart of RetroifyMe, so we treat them with extra care.

• You must own the photo you upload, or have the consent of anyone identifiable in it, before uploading it to RetroifyMe.
• Uploaded photos and their generated outputs are processed on secure servers and may be sent to third-party AI/ML image-generation providers solely to produce your requested output.
• We do not use your uploaded photos to train our AI models, or any third party's models, without your explicit opt-in.
• Files are encrypted in transit using TLS and, where supported by our hosting infrastructure, encrypted at rest.
• You can request deletion of an uploaded photo or generated image at any time; see Contact Us below.

Retention: uploads and their results are retained only for as long as needed to provide you the result and let you download it, and while your account remains active. Deleting your account removes these files within a reasonable period afterward.

Payment Processing

Payments on RetroifyMe are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited), our payment gateway.

• Your card details, UPI ID, or banking credentials are entered directly on Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS-certified checkout interface.
• We never see, receive, or store your raw card number, CVV, or net banking credentials.
• We retain only: transaction ID, amount, plan purchased, payment date, and status, used for billing, refunds, and compliance.
• By making a payment, you authorise Razorpay to process the transaction on our behalf, subject to their own privacy policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, including your photos. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Razorpay: for billing, as described above.
• AI/ML processing partners: to generate your requested output. These providers are contractually bound to use your photos only to fulfil your request, and not for any other purpose.
• Cloud infrastructure providers: for hosting and data storage.
• Legal requirement: if required by law, court order, or a government authority.
• Business transfer: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, you will be notified before any change in data ownership takes effect.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR for EU/UK users and the CCPA for California residents), you may have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: request deletion of your personal data and uploaded photos, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Withdrawal of consent: opt out of marketing communications, or of any optional AI-training consent, at any time.
• Data portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@retroifyme.com with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies & Local Storage

• Essential: required for the Platform to function (session management, authentication). Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics (if enabled): pseudonymous data on how you use RetroifyMe. We do not send your photos or personally identifiable information to any analytics provider.
• Preferences: remember your settings across visits.

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

Security

• TLS encryption for all data in transit.
• Encryption at rest where supported by our infrastructure.
• Role-based access controls for our team members.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Children's Privacy

RetroifyMe is not directed at, and may not be used by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information (including photos) from minors, and photos of minors (including your own children) may not be uploaded to the Platform. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information or a photo, please contact us at support@retroifyme.com and we will delete it promptly.

International Users

RetroifyMe is operated from India, and your information (including photos) may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, consistent with this Policy.

Third-Party Links

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as our payment processor's checkout page). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and encourage you to review their policies before providing personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of RetroifyMe after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
